dicdef of a foreign word. -- Graham :) | Talk 11:48, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- Not a dicdef, worse - patent nonsense. Dunc Harris | Talk 11:55, 28 May 2004 (UTC).
- Also a section of tanga by the same author. Dunc Harris | Talk 11:56, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- and also Desenrascanço which is another Portuguese word!!! Dunc Harris | Talk 12:08, 28 May 2004 (UTC) (at some earlier time)
- Ah! but see talk:Desenrascanço; ppl talk about patent nonsense. Dunc Harris | Talk 12:08, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- and also CAVOK which should be sppedily deleted. Dunc Harris | Talk 12:01, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- I read it and I could not stop laughing, but I couldnt cause i'm at work. I almost died reading it. It is not a nice portuguese word, it has another meaning. LOL. about tanga there is also other "tangas" that are def. like that one. About desenrascanço, I disagree. There's an article about vodoo there isnt? -Pedro 15:19, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- Well, "cagão" really is used in the sense of a show-off, right, Pedro? See for example [1]. Of course it means something else as well [2]. So I don't think the cagone article is nonsense. It's trivial but entertaining.
No vote yet.Wile E. Heresiarch 16:32, 28 May 2004 (UTC) - I like all of these articles; by their addition they don't seem to harm wikipedia at all. Always good to learn new things. Rhymeless 21:43, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete from English Wikipedia. 1) Definitions belong in Wiktionary. 2) No evidence that this word is in use in English. Rossami 22:37, 28 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Agreed w/ Rossami. Wile E. Heresiarch 19:52, 29 May 2004 (UTC)
- I know that tanga, at least, it present in heavily hispanic english-speaking communities.. Rhymeless 22:19, 29 May 2004 (UTC)
- delete. It is an insult and nothing special. I thing nobody understands really what the word means, but Italians, Portuguese and Spanish (Romanised/original-latin cultures) will understand it perfecty, and they will laugh a lot. It is nonsence. it was good to laugh a bit. But I didnt like the comparison with Desenrascanço that is a cultural mather. Tanga is possibly from Angola. Althought the Brazilian meaning is also used. -Pedro 22:25, 29 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete! Please! With desenrascanco, tanga and now this one, the wikipedia is turning into a private joke for portuguese. MvHG 10:46, 30 May 2004 (UTC)
