My guess is that Aznavour may come from the Armenian word Azniv (Ազնիւ) that means something in the likes of respectful, kind. - Fedayee 21:19, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Saka turkic?

"The first Turkish presence in the region was the brief occupation of the Doğubeyazıt area by the Saka in 680."

This sentence is confusing, as it lacks the information on how this postulated Turkish presence is related to the presence of the Saka. Truchses (talk) 13:17, 9 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Alternative names

This article is related with a province (Ağrı Province) not with a city (Ağrı). So we mustn't add alternative names of the city of Ağrı. We can add alternative names of the province of Ağrı with reliable sources. Takabeg (talk) 06:43, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
