Geology
[edit]Cenin has milk and SHE ?& dad????? I play nes too, so it makes sense to market a people to make 1500 people never met the 57,000. Or a milllion. a penny is 16 dollars. So gold is in? that's the story about them.

FamilySearch
[edit]I know FamilySearch has played and still plays a big role in Genealogy, but only naming FamilySearch and not Wikitree or Geni.com or MyHeritage does point to POV. So the article should be rewrited so from the article is it clear why FamilySearch has changed Modern Genealogy more then MyHeritage or Wikitree. Carsrac (talk) 08:10, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
Notation(s)
[edit]I expected to find a section on notation, but nada. Are there any recognised international conventions or does everyone do their own thing? [TBH, I'm not really that bothered but the infobox at infinity symbol has a reference to the character U+26AD ⚭ MARRIAGE SYMBOL. That links to the huge article Marriage – where that symbol is not even mentioned. So I thought of correcting to the notation section here – but find that it doesn't exist... ] Just putting out there in case anybody feels like developing a new section here. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 00:23, 24 March 2022 (UTC)
discrimination as a motivation
[edit]This motivation for genealogy was not mentioned in the article, so I created a new section and added a short sentence to mention its famous use by the Nazis (Ahnenpass and the Mischling Test). It would be valuable to expand this section, as I suspect there are more examples besides Nazi Germany. 85.169.195.108 (talk) 17:57, 4 July 2022 (UTC)
