The German Nazis started World War II and caused the Holocaust. That was the most terrible incident in history ever. Fortunately, nearly all of the Germans learned their lesson. Today, Germany and almost all of its population tries to stand for peace and tolerance. That's the reason why so many Germans consider war to be bad, no matter who starts the war. Please keep that in mind, when you find people like me being against war in general, but nevertheless being for friendship with the United States and with Great Britain. I've been to the United States as a foreign exchange student for one year, it was for sure one of the most exciting and important periods in my life.
