[edit]Still tons of information to add of Owaldo's life before he became foreing minister, and also his life after 1947 and ownwards.
Please give me a hand over here :)
According to President of the United Nations General Assembly Aranha was president there in 1947; I'd add it to the article but it seems to contradict this section: "then head of the Brazilian delegation to the UN" - was he both? Ziggurat 21:37, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
- The information was taken from the UN page about Oswaldo Aranha. I have RE-ADDED that last paragraph because Aranha being honored to the point that since him every first speaker of the UN General Assembly being a Brazilian is quite a big deal to mention in this article. Also, he is widely regarded by Brazilians and Israelis as a key figure that supported the creation of the State of Israel, to the point that more than one street in Israel bears his name. Just do a search on the Internet for the information. --Pinnecco 20:17, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
Picture removed
[edit]Can someone mention here why the picture of Oswaldo Aranha was removed? --Pinnecco 19:58, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
1947 comment is unsourced
[edit]The presumed Carta Capital, June 30, 2017 quote completely failed verification. It also lacks a full stop or alike toward the end, 2 sentences are combined into 1 w/o connecting element. Arminden (talk) 12:21, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
"Controversies" section not actually one
[edit]There are such, mainly re. his actions in the 1930 revolution. Not mentioned w. a single word.
His attitude toward Jews, esp. during the Holocaust, is controversial, but his interaction w. Einstein is not. Arminden (talk) 12:24, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
