Top Thrill 2
[edit]Will someone please add Top Thrill 2 into the roller coasters section? It opened along with the park on opening day. I tried to start adding it, but I don't wanna mess anything up. Would help if someone with more experience added it. Thanks. SummeRStorM79 (talk) 04:17, 13 May 2024 (UTC)
- Looks like you already added it! I went ahead and restored the original description, but left in the part about the Zamperla renovation. Thanks. -- GoneIn60 (talk) 17:59, 13 May 2024 (UTC)

Six Flags is not the owner of the company. Please change. 2603:8001:9F00:8A6A:214E:CBBF:C305:6A52 (talk) 13:41, 2 July 2024 (UTC)
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate.
- The park's website says that it merged with Six Flags. What change are you asking for? RudolfRed (talk) 15:27, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

Cedar Point and Cedar Fair as a whole were not acquired by Six Flags in 2014, instead 2024. (typo) 72.196.18.85 (talk) 00:50, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
- Done – Fixed, thanks. By the way, neither Six Flags nor Cedar Fair were acquired. They merged in what was called a "merger of equals", forming a new company that kept the Six Flags name. This was previously discussed at Talk:Six Flags (1961–2024)#Survey #2. --GoneIn60 (talk) 01:23, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

The Top Thrill 2 coaster soft opened on May 4, and closed a few days later due to a mechanical modification. It will never fully reopen at all. Can you please add it to the timeline? Here is the source.[1] 2601:40A:8400:1820:D10:BB0E:6522:EB75 (talk) 23:32, 23 August 2024 (UTC)
- Partly done: I updated the information that was reported in the source, notably that it is expected to reopen in 2025 (not that it will
never fully reopen at all
) as you asserted. If you found that in another source feel free to re-request. Bestagon ⬡ 17:24, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

There is a few pieces of wrong information in this article, I want to fix that. Down below is a list of wrong information or information that should be edited.
1: Cedar Point has 18, not 17 roller coasters. On the Wikipedia page it says 17. This should be changed to 18 2: Cedar Point has 7 family rides, not 8. On the Wikipedia page it says 8 family rides. This should be changed to 7. 3: Cedar Point technically has two water rides while the Wikipedia page only says there is 1. Cedar Point has Thunder Canyon and Snake River Falls (which closed on September 2nd, 2024) but should be added to the Wikipedia page. 4: The Sirens Curse ride is new in 2025 and is included on the Wikipedia page for Cedar Point, A part that should be edited is the description of the ride. You can simply make the description say, "The first steel roller coaster featuring a tilt track in Cedar Point. This attraction opened in 2025 as the tallest, longest, fastest tilt coaster in North America. The attraction is 160ft, contains 2,966ft of track, has a top speed of 58MPH, has a 2 minute duration time, has 13 weightless airtime moments, two 360-degree, zero-gravity barrel rolls, and a high-speed “triple-down” element with twisted and overbanked track. The vehicles also feature two firsts for Cedar Point: on-board audio, allowing sound of the siren while riding the coaster; and high-tech LED lighting on the exterior of each car." 5: The Sirens Curse ride is new in 2025 and is included on the Wikipedia page for Cedar Point, another part that should be added is an image of the ride. - Not done.LucasSP6, you need to provide reliable, published sources that verify the changes you want to make. Cullen328 (talk) 19:46, 19 September 2024 (UTC)

[edit]I believe that the 2017 Cedar Point logo image from Wikimedia Commons should be used as the preview picture when searching for the article. (It is the logo that is currently being used to this day) There does not appear to be a current preview picture so this could be a really good fit. Therguy10 (talk) 17:13, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
